Without drugs, yes there is. You can sit down and take slow deep breaths, letting them out slowly, closing you eyes and letting your body float. If this isn’t working breathe into a paper bag slowly, the carbon monoxide you breathe out will slowly allow you to breathe more restfully.

While not a direct answer to you question I’d like to suggest staying away from stimulating activities. Things like video games, fast music, caffeine (soda, coffee). These things cause your body to tighten up and your breathing to quicken.
That’s not to say that you will always avoid these things but just until your attacks are under control.

Its called from panic to power by Lucinda basset. That program is great though. I cant tell you how often i can see stress poring out of people everyday. Thats when i realized how much this program helped me. These people seemed happy to me before and im sure they are to some degree but most people only have some of the skills learned in the program. Its hard to understand now how people can be so negative about little things, when they dont have to feel that way. Why feel bad when you can feel good. I would pay thousands for the program if thats what they were asking. good luck.
