I used to get them. I was then on meds for a couple weeks and quit. I probably can’t help you out too much because I haven’t had an attack in years. I have heard that by focusing on a single object, you can control your attacks better. It may also be a good idea to seek therapy and get to the root of the cause. Good luck! And remember it is not the end of the world!

Sit down and write some goals of what you want in life. Then write down a game plan to get there. Then focus all the time on your goals and your progress. Always try to focus on the positive in life and don’t dwell on the negative.
What’s done is done, you can’t change the past. All you can do now is focus on your future because that is what you do have control over.
Don’t do drugs either. Most will cause anxiety and depression.

Write this down and put it on your bathroom mirror so you can see and remember it all the time. Then live by it.
Life is 10% what happens to me, and 90% how I react to it.
Use that mind set to get control over whatever you are having the most problems dealing with. Then also use it everytime something happens in life. You can choose how your reaction to anything is going to be.

The first step to learn anxiety panic attack relief is to believe that you have the ability to take control. Anxiety disorder is not a disease it’s a state of mind that can be controlled. The body responds to the messages sent to it by your mind, even if the situation is totally safe but your mind interprets it as unsafe, your body will respond to what you think…..read more here
