The best medication for Panic Disorder is patient-specific. A Psychiatrist is the best judge of just which medication(s) would be most appropriate for the treatment of this psychiatric illness.

Panic attacks have a lot of causes, and the best treatment is to know the cause and to initiate its handling. Benzodiazepines like klonopin, xanax, ativan, valium are good; others like serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs): prozac, zolof, paxil, luvox or like tricycle antidepressants: tofranil are used too. But, what is the cause or causes of your panic attacks? The medical assistance in any treatment is important.
