and pregnancy (the whole thing, carrying the baby and labor). I also have trust issues, anger issues, self esteem and every night I suffer from horrible dreams and wake up with rapid heart beat or panic attacks. It would be great to know of anyone out there who suffers from these issues.

Sounds like you have some unresolved issues from the past that are coming up in nightmares and panic attacks. Therapy will help you sort through these fears and learn ways to cope with the fears. Working through whatever is wrong is hard but not as hard as having panic attacks and nightmares and out of control fears. There are so many great books and websites on anxiety. Learn all you can and apply it to your life. It takes time but it can get better. Best wishes in your recovery

You have a great deal of anxiety. You may have a generalized anxiety disorder. the nightmares, panic attacks, fears-worries, rapid heart beat even are indicative of high stress. You likely try to control your stress holding it back in waking which causes it to vent in relentless nightmares and midnight panic attacks.

I can relate to much of this. I will never have kids. I wake with panic attacks. I have always had nightmares since childhood nearly nightly this being because of how much stress and trauma I was experiencing without a safe and healthy outlet to cope with my feelings.

The anger, trust, and self esteem issues could be at the root of some of your stress or they could have resulted from past life experiences you have not addressed or felt and coped with fully or healthily. If this is the case and you don’t want the medication aspect get therapy or at least a confidant to work through these issues and that alone should ease the tax stress is placing on your body. Addressing phobias next would be a good step. Then if you do need medications or even just general health maintenance (my boyfriend has these same fears NEVER gets anything checked out I worry terribly for him}. That way you can make sure you stay healthy enough not to need surgery to the best of your ability.

as for the nightmares and panic attacks they should lessen as your overall stress and anxiety level drops through addressing these stress building issues one by one and taking them off your plate.

im 24 by the way. My bf is 34

You need to find a cure immediately, or better still visit your doc. It dangerous for one to have panic attacks during pregnancy, its deadly; sorry to say but it’s the fact.
