I was watching this guy on ”YouTube” it was a video he was just talking about how he had anxiety for over a decade but he doesnt have it no more. . anyway.. he told me that once anxiety is gone it cant come back you can only get it once in your life? & i found that hard to believe cause what iff i go through so much stress again? theirs a reason for it to come back isnt it? cause thats how i got anxiety panic attacks from Depression. Is this ture iff so.. how & why?

I get really bad panic attacks, like when driving or going to class and I can’t control them. it’s really getting to be bothersome and is very stressful.
I keep hearing that controling your breathing is helpful. But when I get an attack, I can’t breathe. Already I have fainted in class because I couldn’t breathe and I got lightheaded.

I have been doing research about what over the counter medications I could use for anxiety. And I have been coming across quite a few sites that mention benadryl to relieve anxiety and panic attacks, which I know are brought on by anxiety. I also called a local pharmacy, and the lead pharmacist’s also mentioned that many people use benadryl for anxiety and insomnia. I am unable to get out and go see a doctor, and doctors here are unwilling to come to my home and help me with this anxiety. Which I think is bs.

But anyway, so I was just wanting input on what people on yahoo have to say about using benadryl for anxiety.

p.s. The pharmacist also mentioned trying Chlor-Trimeton.

Any thoughts, opinions and answers are welcome, especially from people who are taking benadryl for anxiety and/or panic attacks.
