Anxiety and Panic Attacks

hi, I started taking birth control pills about 5 days ago and i woke up last night with a little anxiety attack, and also about 10 minutes ago i had another one, they are really short but still i feel really bad, mayby its not anxiety. just wanted to know if it is normal to feel like this when starting birth control. thanx

Does anyone know for sure and out of experience if birth control pills cause anxiety attacks? or at least contribute to them? if so did going off of BCP help the anxiety?
