I need something to help with anxiety and panic attacks. The doc has me on zoloft and xanax. I am always tired and a bunch of other horrible side affects. I want something natural that is going to help. Vitamins or herbal meds or something. Any suggestions?
I have been taking 50mg of Zoloft for panic attacks/social anxiety for years. I used to get really bad panic attacks, mostly at night. The only way I could get through them was closing my eyes, lying completely still in bed and concentrating on my breathing. Everything seemed to stop a few months ago, the panic feeling and the anxiety I had whenever I went out in public. It was great 
But it didn’t last long. The really bad panic attacks seem to be gone but the social anxiety has worsened. I can’t go out to eat with my family. Sitting in a restaurant full of people is torture for me. Even going to the grocery store is problematic. If I go there and I don’t have my mind focused on a list or something like that, as soon as I enter the place I want to leave. The thoughts I have are always I need to leave, I need to get out of here, I need to get home. That’s not normal, I know. I have a dr. app in two months, should I ask him to switch my med? Or just up my dose?
